Top 5 Quirky Photos To Include In Your Wedding

Now I've never photographed a wedding myself (though being a florist means I've been to hundreds) but lately I've been thinking of getting into wedding photography and so of course that means diving headfirst into Pintrest to find inspiration! Where else?
After browsing for a good while I started to noticed the same photos over and over again.
The same poses, props, lighting and angles used again and again!

So I thought Id put together 5 unique photos that not everyone will have in their wedding albums.
If you're like me and enjoying being a little quirky then these are for you!

Number 1 Champagne pop!

What I love about this photo is whilst the idea is posed the couples reactions are as real as they come! The excitement and joy on their faces is what every photographer should want to capture, the real moments of happiness on the best day of their lives. Also that head piece is stunning!

Number 2 the bouquet.

Now I am a florist specializing in weddings so OF COURSE the bridal bouquet is going to be important to me! However I love this photo for so many reasons, the main one being that,  okay sure, you can snap a photo of your bouquet placed thoughtfully on a table looking beautiful but are you ever going to display that in your house? No! But with this shot not only do you get a gorgeous in focus picture of your wedding blooms you also get a super romantic smooch slightly out of focus in the background!
Oh and the draping of the veil is PERFECT!
Adore this shot.

Number 3 Father daughter dance

I love these 2 photos so much, they both totally capture the emotion in this moment and the love theses dads and daughters have for each other. The out of focus fairy-tale-ness of the first and the super unusual camera angle of the second really made these stand out to me!

Number 4 CONFETTI!

I LOVE confetti and I especially love confetti photos at weddings! Now there is nothing wrong with the traditional photos of the bride and groom exciting the ceremony and getting showered in confetti, those photos are always gold but for the people who want something a little different these photos are for you!
I love the idea of taking a few intimate moments to have some champagne and celebrate being husband and wife away from the rest of the party.
The candid nature of the shots and all the pretty pastel pieces are just stunning! Sign me up!

And finally,

Number 5 Just being totally in love.

You're always at your most beautiful/handsome when you're happy and these two photos have happiness shining from them! Make sure amongst all the posed serious shots your photographer captures the genuine moments of joy, after all on your wedding day everything will zoom by like its in fast forward and you may forget the tiny details, but you'll never forget how happy you were.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this, it's definietly inspired me to jump on the wedding photography train!
